Review: Noodles & Company, Macomb, MI {and enter to win Noodles for a YEAR! Ends 12/12}

Review and giveaway: Noodles & Company, Macomb, MI

*Disclosure: I received a meal at the Macomb Noodles & Co. in exchange for this post. The opinions expressed here, however, are my own.

Back in June, I tried out some of the newest salads and other dishes at the Noodles and Company located in Royal Oak, MI. This winter, Noodles has some new mac 'n cheese and other entrees out, so I headed to the Macomb, MI location—which just recently opened—to try them.

We started out with a few appetizers, including a new-ish one that has come to be my favorite - the Korean meatballs. We also tried some of the salads that debuted this summer, and the restaurant's garlic bread, which is always good.

The meatballs come marinated in a Gochujang sauce, and they're a little spicy; I don't normally like spicy foods, but they have just the right amount of spice. The two salads we tried were the Chicken Veracruz (left), and the Napa Market Salad with chicken (right).

We then moved on to the entrees, starting with the Asian dishes, including Noodles' newest dish, the spicy Korean beef noodles. Like I said, I don't really like spicy dishes but these were very tasty. Pad Thai with shrimp was also served, but I don't eat seafood so I skipped that one, as well as the Japanese pan noodles, which are always very good.

Noodles has three new mac 'n cheese dishes, and we were able to sample all of them. From left to right, in the pic above, are the BBQ pork mac 'n cheese, the Bacon Mac and Cheeseburger, and the Buffalo chicken mac 'n cheese. I skipped the Buffalo one because I dislike spicy food, but the other two were surprisingly delicious—and this coming from someone who has never really been a fan of mac 'n cheese. My favorite was actually the Bacon Mac and Cheeseburger, which includes bacon, crumbled oven-roasted meatballs, Roma tomatoes, and green onions.

We finished with a selection of the Mediterranean dishes (see the first pic in this post), which included the Penne Rosa, the Pesto Cavatappi, and the Alfredo MontAmore. I usually really dislike alfredo sauce (too creamy for me) but the Noodles' Alfredo MontAmore has a different taste to it, and it's very delicious. The Pesto Cavatappi is another of my favorite dishes at the restaurant.

Don't forget that you can also add on soups (the chicken noodle is my favorite) to your dish too—I believe it's only an $1.25 upcharge— as well as proteins such as grilled chicken, parmesan-encrusted chicken, shrimp, beef, and pork.

You can check out the entire Noodles & Company menu here.

Noodles & Company is located across the United States. The one I dined at is located at 15575 Hall Rd., Macomb, MI 48044, and can be reached at (586) 488-3628.
